Connect-it conference| 13 december 2011

On 9 December 2011, our cluster held its project opening conference. General managers and representatives of our member companies and guest speakers visited the programme. The main objective of the conference is to help clusters to get acquainted with each other and to have a comprehensive view of the main direction of business conceptions. Peter Dobay, a lecturer from University of Pecs, held an exciting presentation about a serious concern; the insufficient labour supply of the IT labour market. Presentations were divided into two main sections therefore guests could visit those ones in which they were interested. In the business section, Zsolt Nagy, a representative of Kurt Zrt, shared his results in the field of cloud-computing, a new direction of IT. Afterwards, Boran Loncavic, a general manager of GDi Group, held his presentation about the results and the future of the Group. Closing this section, Csaba Tamas gave an overview of Interism Kft since he intends to cooperate with the member companies of our cluster. Andras Hevesi represented ESRI Magyarország Kft on the conference and opened the technical section with his presentation about one of our most prospecting project, the MobileSocial. Afterwards, Miklos Neumann, a representative of MarkCon Informatikai Kft introduced their smart phone application. Laszlo Sasvari, General Manager of OpenMinds, closed the section with his presentation about their business direction and operations.

CNCB conference| 5 december 2011

Our cluster - with other 6 Hungarian clusters - participated in the CNCB conference and presented the "Cluster and Network Cooperation for Business Success in Central Europe" project in Prague last week. The main objective of the conference is to familiarise clusters with each other’s strategies to enhance their international cooperation.

cluster meeting | 28 october 2011

The cluster held its meeting on 28th October 2011. Ferenc Brachmann and three guest speakers gave presentations. Firstly, Istvan Rigler, the owner of Riglersystem Kft, talked about corporate integration of his own developed intangible management method specified for the requirements of the cluster. Afterwards, Akos Tallos, the managing director of Medimass Kft, shared his experience about the aforesaid system. Finally, Zoltan Toth-Pordi, who represented the Research Exploitation and Technology Transfer Office of University of Pecs, highlighted the possibilities of cooperation between innovative companies and the knowledge base of the University.
